Smallholding Sense: Buildings

From the lofty barn to the humble field shelter, every smallholding needs a building or two. Sometimes you inherit them and sometimes you have to start from scratch. Planning rules for agricultural buildings are complex and vary from county to county and some smallholders make use of planning consultants to help them ask the right questions. The following articles and features will hopefully provide inspiration and guidance on all aspects on agricultural buildings.

The Celebrating Smallholding UK website went live in September 2019 - as each section grows, we will add more headings and subheadings and maybe even an index to make it easy to see what is available and to find the content required.
